Camp Epic: Outdoor Camping Theme Inspiration
As the weather cools down in Arizona and the desert evenings turn crisp, outdoor-inspired themes are making a major comeback and our Camp Epic design from this year’s open house at On Jackson in Downtown Phoenix is the perfect example of why. Cozy, adventurous, and full of nostalgic charm, this setup brought the best of campfire season to life with a modern, elevated twist.
Partnering with the talented team at Bloom + Blueprint, the Camp Epic area was all about warmth, texture, and atmosphere. It featured an inviting mix of rich woods, earthy tones, custom branding and glowing candlelight that transformed our event space into a destination where guests could unwind and connect.
For this look, we leaned into all the elements that make camping such a beloved experience. Connection, comfort, and a touch of rustic charm and gave them a sophisticated spin. Bloom + Blueprint set the tone beautifully by incorporating a tree installation filled with candlelights and lanterns, creating a cozy glow that instantly drew guests in.
Our branded Hudson dividers were the centerpiece of the setup, fully customized to fit the Camp Epic theme and surrounded by inviting textures and natural tones. This custom branding element helped tie the look together, turning the dividers into more than just a decorative element it became part of the visual story.
To create an authentic outdoor lounge feel, we featured our Wren outdoor sofas, and tree stump side tables which perfectly matched the camp-inspired color palette. Their warm, neutral tones and plush comfort made them an ideal anchor for the space, encouraging guests to gather and stay awhile.
Adding to the rustic yet refined aesthetic, we incorporated our tree stump side tables, bringing in that touch of natural texture that perfectly complements the Wren sofas. These side tables not only enhanced the theme but also provided a practical surface for drinks and decor, proof that great design is equal parts beauty and function.
The setup also included our new Hunter communal tables, which balanced out the soft lounge areas with structured, versatile surfaces ideal for dining or gathering. The tables’ wood tones and sturdy craftsmanship added depth to the overall design while maintaining the warm, inviting energy that defines Camp Epic.
What made Camp Epic stand out wasn’t just the rentals, it was the feeling the space evoked. The combination of flickering candlelight, soft seating, and rich textures made the entire setup feel both adventurous and comforting. Guests could easily imagine sitting by the campfire under a desert sky, sharing stories and enjoying the crisp fall air.
