Dining Chair Rentals in Phoenix, Arizona

Frequently Asked Questions

Details to help plan your dining chairs quote

How many dining chairs do I need per table?+
The table sets the count. A 60-inch round seats 8, a 72-inch round seats 10, a 6ft banquet seats 6 to 8, and an 8ft banquet seats 8 to 10. Multiply by your table count, then add a few spares for vendors and late additions.
How much space do I need behind each dining chair?+
Leave about two feet of clearance behind each chair so servers can pass while guests are seated. A room that works on paper gets tight once plates start moving, so measure the aisle between table edges, not just the table footprint.
What is the difference between a dining chair and an accent chair?+
A dining chair is sized to pull up to a dining table at seat height and is ordered one per guest. An accent chair is a lounge piece with a lower, deeper seat, used in seating groupings rather than at a table. They are separate collections and are not interchangeable.
Will the chair fit under my table?+
Standard dining tables sit at 30 inches high and our dining chairs use a seat height near 18 inches, which clears every table in our range. The one thing worth checking is arm height, since armchairs can catch on a table apron. Tell us your table style and we will confirm.
What dining chair styles do you rent?+
Wood, rattan, leather, boucle and velvet frames; Ghost acrylic in clear, black, smoke, amber and green; gold-frame metal styles including Tolix, Jasper, Halo and Garbo; and crossback chairs in antique brown.
Which dining chairs come with seat pads?+
Some styles include them and some are bare by design. The Winston comes with linen pads, and the Jasper, Halo and Garbo gold-frame chairs come with white or black pads. Wood, Ghost acrylic and most metal frames are unpadded. Each product page lists what is included.
Are Ghost chairs a good choice for outdoor dining in Arizona?+
Yes, they handle patios and turf well and they disappear against a view, which is why they are common at desert and poolside receptions. In direct afternoon sun the acrylic gets warm to the touch, so for a daytime summer dinner plan shade or pick a wood or metal frame instead.
What is a crossback chair?+
A crossback is a wood dining chair with an X-shaped back support, sometimes called a cross-back or an X-back. Ours come in antique brown. It reads warm and rustic, which is why it turns up at vineyard-style and desert weddings more than in ballrooms.
Can I mix dining chair styles at the same event?+
Yes, but hold one style per table rather than alternating within a table. Mixing across tables reads as intentional; mixing within a table reads as a shortage. A common approach is one chair through the guest tables and a different, heavier chair at the head table.
Do dining chairs work for a wedding ceremony?+
They can, but most ceremonies use lighter seating that a crew can place and strike inside a short window. If your ceremony and reception are in the same room and you are flipping the space, running one dining chair through both is cheaper and simpler. See our full chair collection for ceremony options.
