This year’s White Lotus themed event at Scottsdale Civic Center transformed the outdoor lawn into an immersive travel-inspired experience that guests will be talking about long after the final raffle ticket was drawn. The annual Suitcase Experience has become one of the most anticipated events of the year, bringing together incredible design, interactive experiences, destination-inspired cuisine, and the thrill of mystery travel giveaways—all wrapped into one unforgettable evening.

Inspired by HBO’s hit series The White Lotus, this year’s event concept centered around the luxurious and dramatic destinations featured throughout the show’s three seasons. Each section of the event represented a different White Lotus location, transporting guests through Sicily, Hawaii, and Thailand with immersive décor, themed rentals, curated cuisine, and experiential activations.

Hosted outdoors at Scottsdale Civic Center, the event felt like stepping into multiple luxury resorts all in one evening.

One of the most exciting parts of this White Lotus themed event was how each themed section fully embraced the personality and aesthetic of its respective White Lotus destination.

The Sicily-inspired beach club lounge leaned into Mediterranean luxury with coastal textures, soft neutrals, and elevated lounge seating that captured the effortless glamour of the Italian seaside. To anchor the experience, our Frameless Hudsons featured an edge-to-edge scenic image of Sicily, creating a dramatic visual moment that instantly transported guests to the cliffs and beaches made iconic by Season 2 of the show.

The scenic installation blurred the line between décor and destination, giving attendees the feeling that they had stepped directly into a luxury resort on the Italian coast.

Meanwhile, the Hawaii-inspired section embraced tropical warmth and laid-back luxury, incorporating lush greenery, natural textures, and resort-inspired details that reflected the feel of the show’s first season.

The Thailand-inspired experience brought bold energy and playful interaction into the event. One of the standout moments in this section was our Leona Bar Cart, reimagined as a themed snack and interaction station. Guests could enjoy snacks while also participating in one of the evening’s most talked-about experiences—holding live snakes as part of the Thailand-inspired activation.

This experiential moment perfectly embodied the adventurous and slightly unexpected energy that makes The White Lotus such an engaging theme for an event.

Beyond the décor, cuisine played a major role in immersing guests into each themed environment. Every section featured food and beverage offerings inspired by the region it represented, allowing attendees to experience the culture of each location through flavor as well as design.

From Mediterranean-inspired bites in the Sicily lounge to tropical flavors representing Hawaii and bold Southeast Asian influences in the Thailand section, the culinary experience became part of the storytelling.

Throughout the event, our white fencing played an important role in shaping the layout and flow of the experience. Used across all areas of the event, the fencing helped define exclusive VIP spaces while maintaining a clean, elevated aesthetic that complemented each themed environment.

Functional elements like fencing are often overlooked in event design, but when thoughtfully incorporated, they can become part of the overall visual language of the event rather than simply acting as barriers.

In this case, the white fencing helped create separation between general admission and premium guest areas while still maintaining the polished resort-inspired atmosphere.

While the White Lotus themed event created environments and destination-inspired experiences that kept guests engaged throughout the evening, the biggest excitement always comes at the end of the night.

The Suitcase Experience is famous for its signature raffle giveaway, where guests have the chance to win mystery trips to destinations around the world.
