Ottoman Rentals in Phoenix, Arizona

Frequently Asked Questions

Details to help plan your ottomans quote

What shapes of ottomans do you stock?+
Cubes, round Dot ottomans, the oval and round Reese, the curved Opus and Cosmopolitan, long Continental benches, the Sierra bench, the Veranda, and 4ft and 8ft Kincaid benches. The curved pieces are the ones people forget: an Opus or Cosmopolitan will follow the arc of a circle bar or wrap a column where a square cube leaves gaps.
What is the difference between an ottoman, a cube and a bench?+
A cube is a square ottoman, usually around 18 inches on a side, seating one. An ottoman is the broader category and covers round, oval and curved shapes as well. A bench is the long version, four to eight feet, seating three or four in a straight line. None of them have backs, which is the whole point: they keep sightlines open across a room.
How many guests does one ottoman seat?+
One on a cube or a Dot, two on a Reese oval or a Cosmopolitan, three to four on a 4ft bench and four or more on an 8ft. Count conservatively for a long event, because backless seating is comfortable for a cocktail hour and less so for a three-hour dinner.
How tall is an ottoman?+
Around 18 inches, the same as a standard chair seat, which is what lets a cube pull up to a lounge grouping and sit level with the sofa. It is deliberately taller than a coffee table, so an ottoman used as a surface sits a little high next to one. That matters if you are laying a tray across it.
Can an ottoman be used as a table?+
Yes, with a tray. A hard tray across a cube or a Dot turns it into a drinks surface, and that is the standard move when a grouping needs a second landing spot but has no floor space for another side table. Without a tray, upholstery and cocktails are a bad combination, so plan the tray in rather than hoping.
Can ottomans be pushed together into a longer bench?+
Yes, and cubes are built for it. Four cubes in a row give you the length of a bench with the flexibility to break it apart when the crowd shifts. Continental benches butt end to end for a continuous run along a wall or around a perimeter. Keep the same family together so the heights and the upholstery match.
Where do ottomans go in a lounge grouping?+
On the open side, facing in. A grouping with a sofa and two chairs has one side left over, and an ottoman or a pair of cubes closes it without putting another chair back in the sightline. They also work pulled slightly out as a perch, which is how guests actually use them at a cocktail hour.
What is the Mini and Biggie ottoman set?+
A two-piece set, one small and one large, in white, ivory or pewter. The pair works as a nested coffee-table substitute in the middle of a grouping, or split apart with the large one as seating and the small one as a footrest. It is the easiest way to add two useful pieces without adding two full-size ones.
Can guests stand on the ottomans?+
No. Upholstered ottomans are seating, not staging. If you need height for a photo op, a speech or a band riser, rent staging rather than improvising with furniture. Tell us what the moment needs and we will send the right piece.
What colors do you stock?+
White, ivory, ivory boucle and pewter across most of the Colette, Mondrian and Kincaid ranges, plus natural wood bases on the Sagano and Sierra benches. Boucle is the one to ask about for weddings, since the texture photographs as soft and hides light marks better than a flat weave.
