Frequently Asked Questions
Details to help plan your customizable games quote
Which games can be branded?+
Air hockey in both the Arctic flat top and the Big Wave curved top, foosball, ping pong, cornhole in standard and LED, the NBA Gametime and Half Court Hoops basketball arcades, NFL 2 Minute Drill, Dead Heat Unleashed racing, glow skeeball and both claw machines. If the machine you want is not on this page, ask anyway, because what can carry artwork varies by piece.
What part of the machine carries the artwork?+
It depends on the game. Table games like air hockey, foosball and ping pong take artwork across the playing surface and the side rails, which is the largest and most photographed area on any of them. Upright cabinets take side panels and the header above the screen. Cornhole takes the full face of both boards. Tell us which surface matters most and we will tell you what is possible on that model.
What do you need from us, and when?+
Vector artwork, your colors, and the model you want, as early as you can get them to us. Branding is produced, not switched on, so it carries a real lead time while the machine itself is just a booking. If you are working to a trade show date, start this conversation before the rest of the order.
Which branded game works best in a trade show booth?+
Basketball and air hockey, for different reasons. Basketball is visible from across a hall and the sound of it pulls people out of the aisle. Air hockey puts two visitors face to face across your logo for several minutes, which is long enough for your staff to have a real conversation rather than a handoff. Cornhole works if you have the depth, which most booths do not.
Which game holds a visitor the longest?+
At a booth, dwell time is the point, which is the opposite of what you want at a party. Air hockey, foosball and the racing cabinet hold two people for several minutes each. Basketball and skeeball are fast and high-volume, better when you want throughput across a busy hall. The claw machine sits in between: short per turn, but the queue becomes an audience.
Which branded game works at a customer party rather than a booth?+
Cornhole and skeeball. At a party nobody wants to be sold to, so the branding should be the thing people stand next to rather than the thing they are handed. A branded cornhole set on a lawn reads as hospitality. A branded racing cabinet in the middle of a cocktail hour reads as a sales stand.
Can the claw machine be filled with our product?+
That is the most effective version of it. A claw machine loaded with your own product turns a giveaway into something guests work for and then carry around for the rest of the event, which is worth more than the same item handed over at a table. Tell us the size and weight of what you want loaded and we will tell you whether the claw will lift it.
Is the branding removable?+
Yes. It is applied for your event and comes off afterwards, which is what makes a branded game a rental rather than a purchase. You pay for the artwork production once and the machine by the day, which is the arithmetic that makes this cheaper than most people assume before they ask.
Can we capture leads from a branded game?+
The game creates the opening. Someone who has just played is already talking to your staff, which is when a scan or a form actually works. We supply the machine and the branding, not lead capture software, so plan that side with your team and brief your staff on when to ask. The mistake is gating the game behind a form, which kills the queue that made it work.
How does a branded game compare to a step and repeat?+
A step and repeat gets you a photograph. A branded game gets you two minutes of attention and a conversation, and it gets photographed anyway because people photograph each other playing. If the budget covers one, the game does more at a trade show and the backdrop does more at an event where guests are photographed on arrival. We rent hedge walls and pipe and drape for the backdrop side.
