The best part of Thanksgiving isn't only the turkey. It's that moment when everyone finds their seat at one long table, passes the first dish, and the room gets loud in the good way. Whether you're hosting family for Thanksgiving or friends for Friendsgiving, the table is what turns dinner into an occasion. And you don't need to own forty matching plates to pull it off.
At Epic Party Team, we rent everything that goes on and around the table in Phoenix: tablecloths and runners in warm fall colors, rattan and wood chargers, stoneware-look plates, copper and gold flatware, glassware, and the dining tables and chairs to seat 12 or 30. Below, we'll walk through choosing your table, picking linens, layering a place setting, sizing your order, and when to book, so your Thanksgiving table is set before the first guest arrives.
Start with the table: one long harvest table or rounds?
A single long table feels like a family dinner. Everyone can see each other, conversations cross the table, and the centerpiece runs the full length like a garden. Rounds are the practical choice when you're fitting a big group into a smaller room, or when you want guests to settle into smaller conversations.
Wood dining tables you don't need to cover
If you love the look of bare wood, start with our dining tables. The Sawyer Dining Table in Ash is our pick for a harvest table: 8 feet long and 42 inches wide, with a soft racetrack top on two fluted legs. Line several up end to end and you have one long table for the whole crowd. For a darker, cozier look, the Raven Dining Table in Brown has the same 8ft x 42in footprint in a walnut-brown finish. A bare wood table means you only need a runner and napkins, not full tablecloths.
Banquet and Kings tables for a fully dressed table
Planning to cover the table completely? Folding tables are the workhorses under a floor-length linen. The 8ft Kings Folding Table (96" x 48") seats 8 to 10 guests and gives you extra width for a full meal, serving dishes and a generous centerpiece. The 8ft Banquet table (96" x 30") also seats 8 to 10, the 6ft Banquet table (72" x 30") seats 6 to 8, and a 6ft Round (72") seats 8 to 10 for a more relaxed layout.
Linens set the season: colors and textures for fall
Linens do the heavy lifting for a fall table. One change of tablecloth color can take the same plates from crisp and modern to warm and harvest-ready. Browse all of our linen rentals to see every color in person.

Warm solids
For a classic Thanksgiving palette, look to Rust, Pimento, Turkey Red or Burgundy. If you want something earthier, Khaki, Ironwood, Dark Olive and Light Olive all sit beautifully under wood and brass tones. Ivory or Oyster makes a lighter base that lets colorful plates and florals take the lead.
Texture and pattern
Texture is what makes a table look styled rather than simply set. Bahama is a linen-look open slub weave that comes in Latte, Natural, Cocoa, Adobe and Sungold: think relaxed, Arizona-desert warm. Wildbloom Harvest is white with gold and tan line-drawn florals, and it works as a statement tablecloth or as a runner over bare wood.
Linen sizes made simple
The goal for a formal look is a linen that drapes to the floor. Here's what our Table & Linen Fit Guide recommends:
- 8ft Kings table: 108" x 156" linen, to the floor
- 8ft Banquet table: 90" x 156" linen to the floor, or 90" x 132" for sides to the floor with an 18" drop at the ends
- 6ft Banquet table: 90" x 132" linen, to the floor
- 6ft Round (72"): 132" round linen, to the floor
- 5ft Round (60"): 120" round linen, to the floor
See the full Table & Linen Fit Guide, with every table size, guest count and linen pairing, on our linens page. Prefer the bare wood look? A table runner plus napkins adds plenty of color without a full tablecloth.
Build the place setting, layer by layer
A great place setting is built from the bottom up: charger, dinner plate, salad plate, napkin, then flatware and glassware around it. Here's how to make each layer feel like fall.

Chargers
Chargers are the frame for every plate, and natural textures read instantly as harvest. Abby is woven rattan with an open loop rim, Josie is a rattan sunburst, Vera is a coiled seagrass spiral, and Stella is scalloped acacia wood. For a moodier evening table, Luna is a matte black charger that makes warm-toned plates glow. See them all in our charger rentals.

Plates
Our plate rentals include several stoneware-look styles made for fall. Dutton is speckled brown and bronze, Sedona is a speckled cream with a raw brown rim, and Calistoga in Sage Green brings a soft, earthy color. Each comes in dinner and salad sizes, so you can stack two layers per guest.
Flatware
Holbrook Copper is the warmest choice and looks especially good against brown and rust tones. Cosmo (brushed gold) and Arrow in Gold or Black are elegant, modern alternatives, and Jessup's hammered silver works well with cooler neutrals.
Glassware
Plan on a water glass and a wine glass for every guest. Our glassware rentals include the Juniper Red Wine Glass, the Grace Water Goblet, the Birdie Water Goblet in Smoke, and Jolene tumblers in Ginger Gold or Green for a casual Friendsgiving.
Napkins and napkin rings
Napkins are the easiest way to add a second color, and our napkins and table runners come in the same colors as our linens, so it's easy to match or contrast. Finish each one with the Etta napkin ring, a natural wood bead loop with a jute tassel.
Three Thanksgiving table looks we love

Harvest Classic. Rust linen, Stella chargers, Dutton plates, Holbrook Copper flatware and Juniper Red Wine Glasses. Warm, traditional and made for candlelight.
Desert Neutral Friendsgiving. Bahama Latte linen, Josie chargers, Sedona plates, Cosmo flatware and Grace Water Goblets. Relaxed, textured and very Arizona.
Sage & Honey. A Wildbloom Harvest runner on a bare Sawyer table, Calistoga Sage Green plates, Arrow Gold flatware and Jolene tumblers in Green. Fresh and a little unexpected.

Florals, candles and the food are up to you and your florist and caterer. We bring the rentals, so your table is ready for the details that make it yours. Looking for more ideas for December? See our holiday tablescape inspiration.
How much to rent for 12, 20 or 30 guests
Size your order step by step: guests first, then tables, then chairs, then linens, then place settings. Always add one or two extra place settings for a last-minute guest or a dropped glass.
| Guests | Long-table layout | Round-table layout | Chairs | Place settings |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 12 | 2 Kings or 2 x 8ft Banquet | 2 x 6ft Round (72") | 12 | 13–14 |
| 20 | 3 Kings or 3 x 8ft Banquet | 3 x 6ft Round (72") | 20 | 21–22 |
| 30 | 4 Kings or 4 x 8ft Banquet | 4 x 6ft Round (72") | 30 | 31–32 |
These counts use the guest numbers in our Table & Linen Fit Guide (8 to 10 guests per Kings, 8ft Banquet or 6ft Round table), planned at the comfortable end so everyone has elbow room for a full dinner. If you push tables end to end into one long table, you lose the seats where the tables meet, so add a table if you're close.
Chairs
For a styled table, the Margo Dining Chair has a curved bent-wood back that pairs beautifully with the Sawyer. The Crossback Dining Chair in Antique Brown is a rustic classic, and the Dark Brown Fruitwood Folding Chair with a tan pad is a simple folding option that still looks warm.
